ScanTrust received both Consumers and Customs awards for its “Goodchain” project during the EU BLOCKATHON’s closure ceremony that took place on June 25 in Brussels. The event jointly organised by EUIPO and the European Commission aimed at exploring new innovative anti-counterfeiting solutions. Eleven teams were competing in front of a jury composed of experts in IPR rights, counterfeiting and tracking and tracing technologies. The purpose of “Goodchain” is to engage consumers with brand owners for social causes while helping them identify counterfeit products. More details on EU BLOCKATHON here.
